01 · About me
I'm Samkit. I recently graduated from Christ University, where I majored in Finance & Investments, finished Rank 3 and was awarded Student of the Year (1/1100+). I'm a CFA Level 3 candidate, and I've previously worked at KPMG (CFO Advisory), D. E. Shaw (Financial Research), Activv Money (Founder's Office) and IgniteXL Ventures (VC Extern).
I've always wanted to build something of my own and genuinely create impact, and I'm ready to give it everything I've got. While still in college, I co-founded Aeon, a growth agency that grew to ₹48L ARR. I also played one of the leads in Kolai, a Tamil film.
In college, I received academic and extracurricular scholarships, and served as President of the Christ University Commerce Association, the umbrella body for all its clubs, leading a team of 350+ members. In 2026, we won the India Finals of the HSBC × HKU Case Competition, the world's largest undergraduate case competition, against 400+ universities in India including teams from IITs, IIMs, SRCC and BITS, and represented India in Hong Kong.

I didn't just want to study how startups grow. I wanted to be in the room while it happened, so I built Aeon while studying full-time.
Also built, in the founder's office

As part of a small team, we grew AUM from ~₹40 Cr to ~₹65 Cr in 3-4 months. I got to build tools and products, do a lot of financial modelling and take a lot of client calls. I was grateful to receive a PPO, and walked away with a lot of learnings, skills and memories.
The product I built
From a non-tech background, I taught myself to code with AI and built the team's internal data tools.
The challenge: every source spoke a different language. AMFI data, fund-house files and APIs all came in different formats, so the scraper had to clean and stitch them into one dataset before any analysis could start.

It's the world's largest undergraduate case competition, with 1,000+ universities globally. In India alone, 400+ universities competed, including teams from IITs, IIMs, IISc, SRCC and BITS: 2,500+ teams and 10,000+ participants. We came out on top and represented India in Hong Kong.

Majored in Finance & Investments, finished with a 9.4 CGPA and Rank 3, and was awarded Student of the Year (1/1100+).

Built it while studying full-time: finding clients, running GTM and building the strategy that helps brands scale. It's where I learnt how businesses actually make money, and how much work goes into every rupee.

A three-person core team: two IIT-IIM alumni founders and me. In 3-4 months we grew AUM from ~₹40 Cr to ~₹65 Cr. I built tools and products, did a lot of financial modelling, and worked directly with HNI and UHNI clients, converting leads and getting committed capital through. I was awarded a PPO.
What I built & learnt ↑One step closer to the charter. Level 3 is in progress.

One of the most competitive summer internship programmes, at one of the world's largest hedge funds. I learnt a lot about modelling and research.

My first corporate role, and I learnt a lot: I collaborated across teams, worked on government projects and had the best team I could have asked for.

A Balaji K. Kumar picture, alongside Vijay Antony. I'm really grateful to have been a part of it.

Always wanted to build something of my own. Tried a lot of different things and learnt even more through work.
